The Three Components That Actually Fail
In order of failure frequency in India: (1) Foam — permanent compression from heat and daily use. (2) Fabric or leather — UV fading, humidity cracking in faux leather, pilling in synthetic fabrics. (3) Frame joints — loosening at dowel connections from seasonal wood expansion. The structural frame itself almost never fails under normal residential use. A warranty that only covers the frame is protecting the seller, not the buyer.
