The Design
The IS0006 Velvet Recliner Armchair is a SOISU Italian-design recliner armchair — a single-seat motorised recliner upholstered in deep red performance velvet, on a polished swivel base.
The reclining mechanism is concealed within the barrel form, so the chair reads as a sculptural armchair until it is opened.

Performance velvet fabric — UV-stable, humidity-tested. Resists crushing and pilling at Indian temperatures and monsoon moisture levels.
Construction
Kiln-dried hardwood frame with mortise-and-tenon joinery. Every joint stress-tested before upholstery. Built for 15–25 years of daily use.
Climate
Engineered for Indian conditions — tested at 40 °C and 85% relative humidity. The same climate as Mumbai's peak monsoon season. Not a claim. A factory floor requirement.
