Colosseo Dining Table
White marble. Architectural column base.
The Design
The Colosseo draws its name from the great Roman arenas — specifically from the column forms that define their silhouette.
The base is two gunmetal column clusters, each composed of three organic bulge forms rising from the floor with the weight and confidence of ancient architecture. Above them: white Calacatta marble, pristine and veined. The contrast between the dark mass of the base and the luminosity of the marble top is as old as Italian architecture itself. For the dining room that earns its name.
